Q: Which Operating Systems does MalwareBuster support?

A: We currently support all versions from Windows XP to the newest versions of Windows 10. Some features will only be enabled on Windows 7 or higher.

Q:  What is an Anti-Malware software?

A: Anti-Malware software can prevent harmful access to a computer by unwanted sources; such as, viruses, worms, trojan horses, or harmful people. These so called “Viruses” can be used to steal, or damage computer files.

Q: What is the difference between malware and viruses?

A: Viruses are a type of malware that is designed to spread and duplicate itself onto other devices, while malware is a broad term used to describe unwanted or harmful code. Malware can include worms, trojans, adware, spyware, viruses, bots, ransomware, rootkits.

Q: Can I get a copy of my purchased license?

A: If you have lost, or cannot find a copy of your purchased license, please contact support@malwarebuster.com to be issued a replacement.

Q: Does my computer slow down during scans?

A:  Generally, running a scan does not noticeably affect system performance. However, performance can be affected by the way your computer is configured, or if you are running multiple scans at the same time.

Q: Can I run MalwareBuster at the same time as my current antivirus protection?

A: Yes, MalwareBuster is an anti-malware cleaner, which means that it can run alongside an antivirus without any problems.
